Catalog and website checks
The release builder checks that there are exactly 500 unique script pages, 20 categories with 25 entries each, distinct source text, required guide sections, downloadable ZIPs, and locally resolvable links. Python sources are parsed to check syntax. Additional language checks and representative runtime examples are recorded in the release validation report supplied to the site owner.
What those checks mean
Syntax checks confirm that a language parser accepts source text. They do not prove every command works on every operating system, dataset, third-party package, or installed tool version. Representative fixture runs check selected examples; the entire catalog has not been exercised in all supported environments.
Runtime and dependency differences
Follow each guide’s listed runtime and dependencies. Operating-system commands and third-party tools may change across releases. Official references are linked so you can verify the relevant API or command behavior.
Capture a useful issue
The “Copy an issue report template” button on a script page copies a local template. Add your runtime version, operating system, exact command, input shape, and error message. Remove private data before sharing it through a channel you choose. This website does not submit the report.
Put it into practice
Choose one small task from the library, run its example, and change one thing you understand.
